I've been coming to the seashell motel since I was an infant. This is an absolute oasis a home away from home a gorgeous spot and wonderful place to spend your vacation on the cape. The rooms are immaculate but super homie. The staff is so kind and truly has become a part of our family. The views and the beach are incredible. I would tell anybody thinking of staying here not to hesitate this has truly become a part of our family and a part of our life the seashell is fantastic. And their pet friendly and absolutely love animals.
Such a nice place. The staff and other guests were all so friendly. We mostly dealt with Joy at the front desk and she is truly a joy. The room was beautiful and clean. The Sea Shell maintains 2 gas grills in the courtyard so a lot of guests including ourselves cooked lunch and dinner a few times. It really felt like a home away from home. Dogs are allowed and it's nice to see them coming and going.I know how they feel because my girlfriend keeps me on a short leash too. If it's in your budget try to stay in one of the few oceanfront rooms, I would say it's worth the extra money. On our next trip we're going to try to stay in one. We wish we could have stayed longer. Great place. I strongly recommend.
Had the most wonderful stay at the Sea Shell Motel. It was everything we were expecting and more . The check in and check out was so easy . The staff was attentive and extremely friendly. The room was super clean . I would definitely come back again on my next visit to the Cape.
It is a very good motel, no dog Beach but pet friendly. Good food for breakfast. The only downer besides the no dog beach is that there is no broom in the room and wood floors. We have only been here for 2 days and there is a lot of sand on the floor. Overall good hotel
This was an unexpected gem. On the lower side of the price range it still offered easy access to the beach, super easy check in and check out, standard and reliable amenities, and friendly staff. Jo Jo the bunny greeted us as we pulled in, and the visit generated wonderful memories for the whole family. It's also pet friendly, with baggie at every door and they just installed a dog shower to knock the sand offa them corgis!
FANTASTIC Motel. Views are impeccable. The rooms are clean, spacious, depending on which room; you can not beat the view! Hotel is quiet, not a party hotel which is nice to find. I traveled with 5 adults & 2 small children. We had 2 separate rooms, one in the “house” & one on the bottom floor. The room in the “house” (#10) was spacious, clean, there were two bedrooms & a generous sized living room area with a small table, larger than average hotel fridge & a microwave. Air conditioning worked fantastic. Balcony was lovely, you can see right to the ocean, it is a partial view but the view is still beautiful. The other room was on the bottom floor, is was large, clean & had a nice kitchenette. Lovely private beach that included chairs & loungers. Many options for sitting outside to enjoy the Cape Cod air, they had multiple outside tables, a gas firepit & a gas grill. Housekeeping was AMAZING. 10/10 for the service. They replenished our towels, provided a crib for my littlest (12m old). You can tell they really care about their jobs. They do have a small breakfast room. We did not venture in, on this trip. The beach the hotel is on is very child friendly. The tide was low during the day so my 4.5 year old was able to splash around & feel comfortable in the water. We found beautiful shells. Can’t wait to come back next year!
Small private quiet motel. Lovely rooms with beautiful oceanfront views. I stayed here alone and felt very safe. Staff were friendly and helpful and kind. You can meet the other guests and their pets. You can see the dogs but they were not a nuisance. The pet owners were very respectful. Great place. I will be back again and again!
What a wonderful , charming, beachside experience! I was so surprised! My daughter booked it as a quick getaway and I wish we had stayed much longer! The staff are so helpful and friendly! If your room lacked anything they were quick to fix it ! Amazing management ! Clean and very comfortable beds ! Just the right amount of space ! We were just a few feet from the beach on a boarded path that is easy to navigate for older people. Thank you ! We will be back !
